YUK...as far as the Super Bowl "talent" tonight was concerned!

I must say, at least we had some singers in "our days" who actually knew how to sing.  Christina Aguilera slaughtered the National Anthem in a major way, and that half time show....well...lets just say the lights were kind of cool.  I think the group was trying to immitate the Village People of the late 70's...but they had forgotten before hand that they needed to learn how to even sing first!

Jerald DeGraw

Randy,

Among others, definitely the 'Itch ' to remove Obama ! (although, I hear that's a pretty common virus throughout the whole Country !).   'Deek'

Hello again ... Jerry did you listen to Paul's post above === Charlie Daniels "Uneasy Rider"  kind a reminds me of someone we all know ...    Happy Valentines Day a little late but better late than not at all ... some crazy weather today up here in Idaho ... some spring time sunshine this morning and by late afternoon it was thunder with lightening and snow, hail and wind with conditions becoming blizzard like and visibility less than 1/8 of a mile by 3:30 in the afternoon.  I don't think I can recall ever seeing lightening during a snow/sleet/hail storm ... anybody else??? well for me, it was a first seeing the sky light up as I was picking kids up at the school ... strange storm ... be careful in WY and ID ... how is it in UT?

02/16/11 10:10 PM #547

Jerald DeGraw

Cathy, funny you should ask - just driving home in a snowstorm from RSP Auto and was pleased to see the whole sky light up with a gigantic wave of sheet-lightning - very similar to the hour-long shows we had all the time in Darwin, Australia ! Oh, that reminds me - has everyone out there seen the movie 'Australia' ? One of my favs of all time ! The bombing during WW2 took place right where We used to live. It really brought back very good memories !  Keep Smilin' !  Crocodile DeGraw     PS -  How did I miss 'Uneasy Rider' ? Will go back and see that.

About 9-10 inches in our lower part of Logan by midnight.  It definitely started as a sunny day, that turned gray late afternoon.  By 6:30 this evening we had hail, wind, with lightning and thunder to start it all off.  A couple hours later we were getting pretty buried.  So much for our wonderful taste of Spring!

I'm Baaaaaaaaaacccckkk! be afraid very afraid. Jerry tries to act all big and bad but he is genuinely a great guy. He brought me out a lap top puter, so now I can hear what you're all up to again. Thank God for Jerry, I was getting so bored without my puter I was actually considering doing housework... shudder... "I just read through 5 pages of forum all at once, and now I feel stoned.

So even after reading all that I still don't know are we getting together for another generic reunion on presidents day? Hmmm Presidents day, maybe we could all sit down and write Obama some ty notes, put some of that piggy flu and crabs in for him too.Well my puppy is trying to tell me i've been ignoring her to long this morning, so "i guess I'd better get off my big butt and chase her around for awhile. Tc y'all

Glo, GREAT to see you BAAAAAAAAAAACK  !!

Bart Croxford

Jerry, I saw the movie "Australia" but apparently no one else did because it was a big dud at the box office but I thought it was a pretty good movie.  I like Nicole Kidman and my wife is crazy about Hugh Jackman and I thought it had a pretty good plot.  It might be a good video for those who didn't see it on the big screen and that includes almost everybody!

02/19/11 11:54 PM #552

Jerald DeGraw

Thank you, Bart - I'm glad you saw it ! I'm not sure if was because I lived in Darwin that I loved it so much, but I like to think it was because of the great, heartwarming story that I thought it was. I read on Wikipedia (I think it was) that, even tho' it didn't that well in Obamaland, it was very well received in other countries - especially Down Under, where it was the 2nd most popular movie after 'Dundee'. I think it said that it made somewhere between 110 and 190 million. Ta Da For Now

Heelllllllllp, The dust bunnies won't quit singing so I can go to sleep. And all eleventeen of them are singing different songs

02/21/11 11:52 AM #554

Jerald DeGraw

Yes, I'm familiar with those most-annoying creatures ! Were any, at least, singing our School Song ?

02/21/11 08:16 PM #555

Gloria Simpson (Royal)

Just  Ogelthorpe, I call him Og. he's my favorite dust bunny.  He knew all the words but sings way off key like me.  Max (my most mischievious pet was singing I'm Henry the eigth
I am) gawd that's annoying. And now that I've got that song stuck in your head, I'll leave, he he!

I wish I had only dust bunnies singing to me at night.  I'm kept awake by stock ratings, country ratings, bond ratings and am still haunted by TV ratings.

It's tough to keep focused on business when people thousands of miles away, demanding freedom from tyranny, will screw up a good Bull Market with their protests and civil actions.

I guess its better than high school when I was haunted on wondering if I really were going to graduate with my class.

I've had a lot of fun with some of you since the reunion and I hope it continues.

I guess my greates asset at this point is Faith.  Sometime thats all we need.
