03/04/11 11:10 AM   Definately can't get immune to Obama. first election I VOTED TO KEP HIM OUT OF OFFICE but it didn't help. He scares the hell out of me. I think the reason I hate Worstglen is because I was a trustee and I've seen what the Assoc. is like. The owners here are sheep and don't want to get involved, but I am only one I tried to change things helped a bit i guess. Yes I'm getting a lot of use out of this lap top. Cheryl must not have liked this, she named it ugly laptop. I love it. Thank you so much.

True story: A week or so ago I was at Sam's Club getting gasoline. It had snowed heavily that day but the area around the pumps had all been cleared out nicely. A car pulled up at the next pump. He had only cleared a small viewing porthole on his front windshield so he could drive to the gas station. Then, while his gas was pumping, the jerk decided to clear all the snow off his car.

The attendent immediately came over to tell him that she would have to clean up the snow he was dumping on the ground. He ignored her. She told him again that she didn't want to clean up his snow. He still ignored her. She went and got the snow shovel and whatever else she needed and again told him that she was going to have to clean up after him. The asshole still ignored her and proceeded cleaning all the snow off his car. She looked at me and rolled her eyes. I said, "No mercy, huh?"

Sigh. It's like that.

He is a muslim, we aren't at war with muslims but with the terrorists and they are musslim, anyone fighting on the other side doesn't belong in office. As for the condo, the people here are sheep that don't see they are being robbed as long as they don't have to do anything. I was the one the pet war started about, you wouldn't believe all that has went down here, but if you want to discus it or vent on the state of the world give me a cal, cus I still have to much trouble typing to get into long winded conversations.lol

Thanks for the invitation - every time I start to vent, I get in real trouble. It is extremely frustrating, knowing what I DO KNOW, and I often don't know whether to shut up or try and bring the truth out - most people either don't believe me or else they just get mad at me. Who would ever believe what is going on right now - I guess I can't blame them because it is SO unbelievable ! I never, purposely want to make people mad or upset. SIGH

You know, I believe we still have freedom of speech in this country as long as we don't talk about our Creator or the countries problems ... however, I can't just hide my head in the sand all of the time ... I do turn off the media ... I do not watch television hardly at all and when I do catch the news, it is only what they allow me to hear ... so I chose to do my best in my own little family, church, job and community and be prepared for the best of times and the worst of times ... and as I drove by the gas station last Monday, I noticed the price had gone up $.07; the next day it had increased $.12 more and by today it had increased by $.36 per gallon in less than one weeks time ??? makes you wonder just how far things will go ... as it surely didn't make me think it was going to be the best of times affording the rising gas prices ...

Do I want to ignore the politics or unite in making things better, because I have children, I have grand-children and I do want to help them make good choices, better ones than I made.  I cannot give them the things I didn't have either, but I can give them an example to follow and if I don't feel good about the way things are heading, I will probably be known to say something or better than say it, I will probably be doing something about it ...  but it truly does bother me to have those representing our Republic, our One Nation Under God, that do not even believe in what our forefathers did when they signed the Constitution ...  men who knew that when they signed it they would either be backed and free or they'd be hung by the neck by morning ... what happened to real battles that stood for what is right??? instead of being fooled by the wolf in sheeps clothing?

I think it should be okay for us to talk on this forum about what is in our hearts with our dear friends that we grew up with and knew for so many years ... we all need somew  here to talk and vent without being hushed ... there is enough of that going around and as you will see, in our near future we will be hushed even more... and not for the right reasons ...

WE do have one another ... let's keep that and let's keep our minds and hearts open ... love you all ... and looking forward to seeing you all ...

On the lighter side of things ... I am going to SLC a couple of times this next couple of months; attending a baby shower for the twins on the 12th; maybe catching a Zango meeting too while I'm there and maybe go to coffee or hot chocolate with a few if you think we can squeeze it in :)  and then hoping to come back when the babies are born ... see you then :)Catherine

I feel very frustrated and angry about our current political situation and I really don't want to start venting here because I'll probably have you all hating me - it's as simple as that. Jerry, I can empathize with you about the emotions needing to escape. Even though I think of myself as a moderate it seems we're on opposite sides. Many times I've been tempted to answer your political comments but, like I said, I want to keep it friendly and not have this forum turn into a battleground!

We, the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of the Ongoing and Continuous Love and Peace Among Old and Demented South High Cubbies Through the Ongoing and Continuous use of the Ever Beloved Message Forum, or SPEOCLPAODSCTOCEBMF, Starring, in Alphabetical Order : Buzz, Cathy, Charlotte, Chris, Gloria, Jerry and Paul, do hereby confess to our little (very little) scheme to arouse (say what?) a little more interest and activity in and for afore-mentioned Journalistic type medium. Or, in other words, stir the pot a little. In all actuality, we are all on the same Political Plane and are of one accord (and that ain't just a bunch of car-talk). Well.....what shall we discuss next ? Religion ? End-of World prophecies (2012 etc.) ?  Education ? Oil Prices ? Gender Superiority ?(sorry guys, no question or debate on that one - that's a no-brainer - I'm on the side of The Bulldog with Lipstick). Taxes ? Equal Pay ?
