Good Morning! Hope everyone is having a great day! Looking forward to the reunion in two weeks. It will be good to see all who are able to attend. It will be great to catch up and share some memories. I look at my days at South as some of my best, and I give alot of credit to our class of 70.Good people=Good times.    I am really looking forward to the reunion.  Let's face it, a lot of us won't be around for the next one.  As Mike Vranes says, we are in the final quarter of our life. And some of us might be in overtime.
   As of today, we have 88 people signed up and 99 people are paid for so we have 11 extra that are paid for so I hope no one stays home because they think it is too much money. We have a very generous class and many people paid more than they needed to pay.  I would like to see a lot of people that I have not seen for a long time there.
  By the way, I heard that Olympus High had their 55-year reunion and considered a great success to have 50 people there. We should at least double that so it shows how much our class likes each other.

Hi Cubbies!

It has been brought to my attention that we have over 100 people attending our 55th reunion. WooHoo!

You may have noticed that in the invitation we asked people to pay extra to make it so that if someone wanted to come but didn't have the funds they could still be there. (I'll toot my own horn and tell you I paid extra since I want to see as many of my fellow classmates as possible.)

Preston Miller has informed me that there are 9 spots that have been paid for with no names attched to them. We want to fill these spots! If you want to come please do. Bring your spouse or partner, come alone, just be there. Call Preston at 801-278-7777 and let him know if you want to join the party.

I will make one more offer. If you live in the Salt Lake Valley and need a ride to the venue, my husband and I will pick you up and take you home as long as you're not in too big a hurry. I drive a Mazda CX5 and I will have room for 2 in the back seat.

I hope everyone who came to the reunion last night had a great time. I know I did. But we all still missed those of you who couldn't join us. We spoke about those we missed and Jeff Chivers ran a video with our fellow Cubbies who have passed away. Mike Vranes had a text from Rich Daniels during the event about wishing he could be there, but health issues kept him away.

The food was delicious, Ken Schwab did a fun bit about the neglected wrestling team along with the Pep Club. I, with Preston's help, put together a trivia quiz - 55 for the 55th. I think people enjoyed this. Tony Devino suggested that I share the quiz on the forum and I will start doing that later.

It was asked if there will be a 60th reunion. I think the consensus was that we'll plan on it.
