My plans for the near future do not include any time in the U S . I was at my home in southern Utah for 2 months (April and May) That is enough for a while, I would enjoy seeing some old friends and attending the reunion and I love the U S, just have other plans for the remainder of the year.
If anyone cares to look at the area where I live in Thailand look on Google maps for Palm Hills Golf Course in Cha Am. Then continue down the coast of the bay of Thailand South about 1 kilometer and you find a comunity Palm Villas then go to the satilite view and along that road on the South side 6 houses in from the guard station there is a home with a pool covered in black tile , and you found me.
I like it here and am also just finishing up the refit of my sailboat Jezebel, In early Sepetember I am joining a regata with a group of owners at Racer Marina,(Thats where I keepJezebel) on a week long tour of the bay of Thailand , Then shortly after that , if all the work on the boat checks out I head out into the Pacific heading South to Australia.
Just one last observation about retirement, And maybe I'm not doing retirement correctly, It's exhusting, busy everyday places to go things that need attention on the boat or at home and so many places to go. And still I am enjoying it. Some local friends want me to join their weekly golf club. i have played some in the past just don't have time to fit in one more activity.
