Hey Paul-
I recall these songs by Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves. They were on my mom's (vinyl) playlist. I even know the lyrics,LOL

My oldest brother had a mad crush on Patdsy Cline back in the late 50s.  He was 21 when I was born and he was raised in Wyoming so I guess it makes sence.  And, yes Brent I too knew all the lyrics.

Knocker-uppers were paid a few pennies each week from their customers, with an additional incentive if they remained at the window, persistently knocking until they were sure the person was up and ready to start their day.

I could have used this kind of help when I was at South. RBS

Does anyone understand what he is saying? What language is he speaking? Where is he from in the world?

For years he has not said one word. Just pick up gold & diamonds from the water.

Now he gives clues by showing his face and speaking.

A little help, please. any ideas?

I am dubious that it's real. I noticed the comments section has been disabled. But if you could find that big a haul why would you be showing it on Youtube? I see identifiable mountains in the background. Paul, you say you've been watching him for years. I've been watching Gold Rush on the Discovery channel with my husband (mostly he watches and I read) and I've never seen anything like that.

I happened to watch the very first episode of Batman from 1966 last night on MeTV. It came out when we were in Junior High. It's so utterly silly but a lot of fun. How did you feel about it back then?

In response to Paul's post asking about the YouTube video on Giant Quarries: Where Gems, Rubies, and Emeralds are Mined!, if you turn on closed captions then YouTube/Google recognizes the language as Russion. Based on my two years studying Russian as an undergrad at the U. of U., I can understand a few words of what he's saying.  But based on my "knowledge" of Russian I can also understand a little Polish and other languages used in the former Soviet Untion.

Is it fake?  Do the giant gold rocks look like they were created using spray paint?  Does the "Crazy Jewel" mentioned in one of his videos resemble a cheap trinket box?  (Search for "Russian Egg Trinket Box ebay", but I don't think it was made by Faberge).    IS there such a thing as the tooth fairy?

Also here's a brief shout-out to all my classmates.
