Yes, Randall.  He really has continued to have a tough time.  The circumstances didn't help much either...as he has always felt at fault.

I remember him well through all of our school years, partially since he lived just a couple of streets away, and we had good common friends.  He was so shy in elementary school, and pretty quiet always, really.

His daughters have taken pretty good care of him , staying with him lots in St George, since he had already sold their house in West Valley and bought the condo in St George planning on it being for both of them.

I was a Jane's funeral as well, and his kept in touch with him often since then.

Here is his obituary: https://www.metcalfmortuary.com/obituary/richard-green?lud=4B4ED1609C04B15CE25424B6CC6429B7&fbclid=IwAR0iKiVKdT8QYaNI8b0QICSRiOv3EvfLJh2lzjxSTQDYaqyHPsttQOZO7S0

It's always a tough wake-up call when we lose a classmate.

I didn't have a direct relationship with Richard, but reading other comments and his obituary it appears he had a rewarding, yet challenging life.

I'm ashamed to say many of our classmates were mere faces I passed in the hall - if, regrettably, I even bothered to look at their faces. Life and the passage of time teaches hard lessons, especially the importance of relationships; lessons I wish I'd learned much earlier.

Rest in peace Richard, as well as others of our classmates who have passed on.

We're all on that same path.

Looking forward future associations, and hopefully seeing you all at our "belated" 50th reunion next year . . .

I too didn't know Richard well from school but I do carry a heavy heart for the police and the work, especially the drug house raids and investigaitons that left so many with the cancer.  We have a number of cops in the family and all are beautiful people.

Despite my activism folks I still tend to stand with the cops in many situations.  Thank you Richard for your service.  Rest in peace.  I guess you're right Jeff, none of us are exempt.

If I may change the pace:  I found this on Linkedin.

I don't know why this didn't receive more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled in South Dakota. It's called 'Dignity' & was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation. Source: @Jim Gath

Incredible sculpture Chuck! First time I've stern it.
Would also like to take a jaunt in that power pack suit Paul.
Loved the album list Charlotte. So many memories in that music.

I notice there is only a stairway to heaven but a highway to hell.

I wonder if that is because of the anticipated traffic volumes.

These times are so crazy right now and a little scary. I am not worried about  COVID  as much as all the destruction that is taking place.

Bonnie, don’t give up. There is much good in the world today. But good news doesn’t attract as many readers and viewers as bad news. The solutions to the problems we face today are multi-layered. Not solved as easily as, “If you do this or stop doing that my problem will be solved.” Everyone has to be part of the solution by doing their part and working together. That is what is discouraging, we don’t see enough of that. Too many are looking for easy, myopic solutions. From individuals to the government.

OK, time to get off the soapbox. Smile and have a good day.
