Did you guys rock any of these fashions after you were out of high school?

http://www.boredpanda.com/1970s-mens-fashion-ads/

Check out the whole array. They even had onesies for men.

Caught !  Before I opened My car lot, I modeled orange pants :-) ( not to mention straight jackets, with the cute little buckles ).

Oh yes Char, the platform shoes, the body shirt but no body to fill it.  If you remember I was anorexic skinny as a young man. But I did style out for Disco at the Name of the Game.

I have to tell you, Chuck, that you were so good looking in that photo below - it makes me smile every time I see it. I bet you were really turning heads like John Travolta in the 70's.

Meanwhile, I don't know if I posted this photo before, but these were the opposite of fashion:

Oh, Char - the horror of those horrid gym suits with your name embroidered on the front.  Gag!

Just wondering, will we have some sort of name tags on Friday?  After looking at all of those updated photos I don't know if I will recognize anyone.

Thank you for the compliment Char but most of the girls in our day were afraid of me.  Gee, I wonder Why?  I did have my share of cuddles but it did get much better after I learned how to dance.

Speaking of cute dark guys my Son Nate is doing very well in the debates for the City Council District 4 race.  The press doesn't pay a lot of attention to City Council so we may not see a lot of him until after the primary.  Ballots are being mailed as I write as this is a vote by mail election.  Wish us luck.

Vahe Berberian's photo.

A sweet grandmother telephoned St. Joseph 's Hospital.
She timidly asked, "Is it possible to speak to someone Who can tell me how a patient is doing?"
The operator said, "I'll be glad to help, dear. What's the name and room number of the patient?"
The grandmother in her weak, tremulous voice said, "Norma Findlay, Room 302."
The operator replied, "Let me put you on hold while I check with the nurse's station for that room."
After a few minutes, the operator returned to the phone and said, "I have good news. Her nurse just told me that Norma is doing well. Her blood pressure is fine; her blood work just came back normal, and her physician, Dr. Cores has scheduled her to be discharged tomorrow."
The grandmother said, "Thank you. That's wonderful. I was so worried. God bless you for the good news."
The operator replied, "You're more than welcome. Is Norma your daughter?"
The grandmother said, "No, I'm Norma Findlay in Room 302. No one tells me shit."

I just have to go back and catch up on everyones' messages, but I just noticed the shot of the store in Francis,  which is where I just was the other day. $20 to anyone who can tell me what I used to buy in that store, over the years :-)  ( wait, don't I already owe someone out there $20 ? ).

Happy Pioneer Day! I thought I would ace this quiz but they asked some fairly hard questions. I didn't do too bad all-in-all:
