Thank you to all the Cubs that made this grand event possible.  You are the best!  I just got back to Idaho Falls.

I'm with you Paul. Many are thinking the same I believe the "BEST".  Unfoutunaly I have only seen this one. I love the suggestion of a park reunion next year.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to promote the park idea as mentioned below. Great IDEA!!!

It was nice seeing so many people I have not seen in many years. Thank you all for coming, expecially those who came from so far away. We live in Utah County to it was less than an hour for us to get there. A very nicely-organized event. Kudos to all who helped with the organization! Hope to see you again sometime in the near future.

Thanks to all those who planned and participated in the reunion. It was a '10'.  Very well done.  Looking forward to the next one already!

Since we talked about them somewhat last Saturday, I thought we might write more about some of the teachers.

If I'm recalling correctly, at least one of my English teachers was June Orme. She was a good enough teacher though I hated diagramming sentences and figuring out the symbolism in novels (remember the tree stump in "Shane".

But at one point she had a student teacher for several weeks in her class. Twenty-something good looking guy who thought way too much of himself. I remember spending one whole period discussing "Fool on the Hill" by the Beatles. Apparently he had some secret insight that the rest of us didn't because he kept asking what the song meant. Lots of great guesses from many of us students but he kept saying, "No, that's not it." I sat there thinking, "How does he know what the song is about? Has he had a personal consultation with the Beatles?" I wanted to ask him that but was much too shy then. Wish I could go back and give him some sass.

Remember Miss Kaplan?  She was great.  We spent the whole time just writing what she would lecture us on.

Then there was Mr Swenson, the auto shop teacher.  He was "flawless".  I remember putting a clutch in our Seminary teachers car.  I think it was a 49 ford with a flathead V8.  I remember him standing on the porch of the Seminary building while Randy Stvenson laid rubber when we were testing it!

Those were the good ol days!

Frank, I was going to tell the story at the reunion but chickened out, Mr. Swensen said that we were "all flaws of nature", so he called us flaws all the time. Whenever Georgelas and I talk the first thing we say is, "Hey flaw"! What a piece of work he was!!

I guess I'm feeling negative today because I'm going to be mean.

Some teachers should never think they can be teachers. Paul LaLonde (Art) was one of those. I spent 3 years in his class and I try to dredge up something significant he may have taught me about art and nothing comes up. He was a frustrated artist making a living teaching because he couldn't make it in the art world. (Of course I will admit it's a hard field for anyone to make it in.) But he really couldn't teach; he sucked at it. I remember working on a project and he came over to peruse it. He told me I should change something and I asked him why. He told me, "Because I want you to." No talking about balance or impact or art principles. I didn't change it because I liked it the way it was.. When it came time to put together the Salt Lake City High School art shows South High's offerings always looked second rate compared to the other high schools.

I looked him up online. Maybe I'm not that great on searching but all I found was his obituary from 2006. But I couldn't find anything related to art for him at all.

I thought I would look for an obituary of Mr. LaLonde to see if I remembered him.  I found the following:

Yes, he had some nice credentials but I can't find any of his artwork online at all.

What a "BLAST" it was seeing so many of you at the reunion!!  A great evening of memories, nostalgia and a chance to renew cherished friendships!!

I'm in the process of putting together the 50th reunion video that will be posted on this site.  I took a lot of pics, but if any of you want to forward me a few select photos you took, I'll try to include some in the video - particularly if they are pics of those I might have missed.  Text or email them to:

Caution * Unapproved material * Enter at your own risk of waking up. By agreement to begin disclosure in 2021, our Military Industrial Complex has reluctantly agreed to opening the books. They wanted a 50 year window, but at great push back, they are beginning a modified disclosure. You need to see what is available before you reject the reality of the facts. Here is a well done report of what's being revealed today.

I just finished reading "Billy Summers" by Stephen King. Quite a good book with only a tiny touch of the supernatural which you wouldn't even realize if you hadn't read "The Shining". After reading that this video is quite appropriate.

Carefully read the quickly scrolled documents at the end of the video and pay attention to the subject areas of interest to these truth seekers; aliens, other world vehicles, recovered other world vehicles, bodies, and live aliens, as well as time travel. This is a report about how high rank government and military leaders try to find out what is going on in secret in the very organizations they are supposed to have security clearance over but had no clue what was going on and were warned to stop looking.. Over 90 years of tightly secured departmentalization of activities is only just starting to become available at a slow trickle. Many have been murdered to keep this stuff secret over the years and even now those that controlled it wanted us to wait another 50 years so that those that did horrible things and had control of this stuff could pass on and not have to be punished for their deeds. I think it is important to learn all we can because many have died to reveal the truth and we have paid for it all too.
