Michal married Kent Jones in 1970, but she graduated from night school the same year. They had two children Rodney and Susan, but they latter, divorced. She then married Merrill Hopkins and they moved to Washington, Utah (by Saint George) where they lived happily until Mike died suddenly on July 3, 2008 of, a rare heart disease. Mike was a loving mother, and good friend. She would forgive you for anything but calling her Michelle or, laughing about her having a boys name. Mike and I often talked about our memories at South High.
