A pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. The pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the next race, and it won again.

The local newspaper read: PASTOR’S ASS OUT FRONT.

The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race.

The next day, the local newspaper headline read: BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR’S ASS.

This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get rid of the donkey. The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.

The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day: NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN.

The Bishop fainted. He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10.

The next day the paper read: NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10.

This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild.

The next day the headlines read: NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE.

The Bishop was buried the next day.

The moral of the story is:

Being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery and even shorten your life. So be yourself and enjoy life. You’ll be a lot happier and live longer!

To share with you my classmates that my long hair experience is now behind me.  I'm returning to the dew I wore 30 years as a professional. I'm told I look younger.  If you know someone who needs the tail it will be free to a cancer patient.

It's hell when you have to clean up your act, looking good though, clean cut kid. and on another note Joseph Kingston's picture is in the trib today, looks almost like a picture out of the yearbook.

How is everyone doing out there? Are you hunkering down? Have you put in your 3 weeks supply of whatever? I haven't. Today I am working at the South Jordan library. It is pretty quiet. We had a scare this morning because one of the permanent staff member's husband was thought to have been in a room with someone who had the virus. So we were all instructed to scrub down the surfaces with Clorox wipes. We had that done only to find that the person thought to be infected wasn't. Whew!

I have to confess, I don't feel too worried and I'm pretty sure I'll weather the storm. I'll continue working the library shifts I've signed up for unlesss they decide to close the libraries. Jim Winder told me this morning that that hasn't been ruled out. And if they do close I have plenty of things to do at home to keep me occupied. Quilts to make, books to read, and maybe I'll break down and clean the house.

Here's one of my favorite memes from this crisis:

Thanks for your posts, Charlotte. We  still need a little  humor to get us thru all the sadness and isolation of these crazy times 😜

I don't do much wildlife photography, so I was super excited to get these shots. They're thought to be nearly extinct. Over-hunting has had the biggest impact on their numbers. They like to travel in packs of 2, 4, 6, 8, and up, so seeing this one out solo says something about how seriously they've been affected. I'm just glad I had my zoom.

Our daughter told us last night they are considering blacking us out from our young grand daughters.  I asked what this meant and was told we are the most vulnerable and the children could be the carriers.  Does this mean I can't play with the kids anymore?

Drastic measures, Chuck. But hopefully this doesn't last too long. It just means your daughter loves you too much to endanger you. My grandkids are far away in Hawaii but the other set of grandparents gets to see them all the time. I haven't been with them in a year. Life is just so unfair.
