I still remember the words you can't say on TV.  I was a broadcast major.

On a sad note I was reminded that it's been six years since our classmate Jr. Ralph Ruiz passed away.  As I refelcted and read the messages on his obit page it brought tears to my eyes.  I knew the man 50 years.  He seemed to be more in touch with people at South than I was and he had a much more approachable personality.  I keep looking back because Jr. always had my back.  God how I miss him.

Ha, I did the 'twist', up in the air, on roller skates, at Classic, last week...ended up with a broken rib...They didn't inform Me, at the rental counter, that these skates are the non-pivotal kind, with fixed trucks...otherwise known as 'speed skates', to discourage anyone from doing tricks on the rink, which is what I 'DO' angrycrying

You know, I once met Bob Hope in an elevator in Los Angeles. He spoke to me too...

He said, "Get off my foot!"

This is the first day of my life
Swear I was born right in the doorway
I went out in the rain, suddenly everything changed
They're spreading blankets on the beach

Yours was the first face that I saw
I think I was blind before I met you
I don't know where I am, I don't know where I've been
But I know where I want to go

And so I'd thought I'd let you know
That these things take forever, I especially am slow
But I realized that need you
And I wondered if I could come home

I remember the time you drove all night
Just to meet me in the morning
And I thought it was strange, you said everything changed
You felt as if you just woke up

And you said
"This is the first day of my life
I'm glad I didn't die before I met you
But now I don't care, I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy"

So if you wanna be with me
With these things there's no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I'd rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery

Besides, maybe this time is different
I mean, I really think you like me

Ha, Gary, yes, You got Me over a barrel, on that one...I'm always in a pickle (barrel) :-( Lagoon may be where it all started (the weirdness), but I don't expect it to end, anytime soon :-) Paul, 'The Long Road' sure is a gorgeous video clip - reminds Me of the Weekly Tab Choir broadcasts, which I figured could NEVER be equaled !  SO enjoying EVERYONE'S posts !  Oh, thanks for the get-well wishes from All...not sure if Y'all were referring to My physical or Mental condition...:-)

This one will bring back memories....

Irene Berry told a fairly naughty joke in this skit. Had I been watching at the time of it's first airing I know the joke would have gone right over my head.

Track & field competition at Judge Memorial Saturday brought an unexpected surprise.  You know one of these two is my Granddaughter.  The surprise is the other little girl's Grandfather is Pete Petrigeorge. I chatted a bit with Pete's son and did request Pete's presence at the next reunion.
